Harris at helm as Eastern District marshal

After six years without a U.S. marshal at the helm of the Eastern District of Arkansas, Cory Harris, who has served as the chief deputy U.S. marshal since November 2020, was named to the post as acting U.S. marshal by Attorney General Merrick Garland last month.
