The Arkansas Legislative Council on Friday authorized 478 state employees to receive fiscal 2025 salaries above their positions' maximum-authorized salaries. Those employees include Arkansas PBS CEO Courtney Pledger, earning about $18,000 annually more than authorized, and state Crime Laboratory Director Theodore T. Brown, earning about $102,000 annually more than authorized.
