POLITICS: Legislative committees advance bills to cut state's tax rates + more

The Arkansas House and Senate Revenue and Taxation committees on Monday advanced identical bills that would slice the state's top individual income tax rate from 4.4% to 3.9% and the state's top corporate income tax rate from 4.8% to 4.3%, both retroactive to Jan. 1, 2024.
