Legislative subcommittee OKs negotiating contract with consulting services to review insurance coverage for public schools, others

The Legislative Council's Executive Subcommittee on Thursday directed the Bureau of Legislative Research to negotiate a contract with Perr & Knight for actuarial and strategic consulting services for a review of commercial property insurance coverage of the state's public schools, higher education institutions and state agencies, and authorized its co-chairs to sign the contract after the negotiations are completed.
