When I was a child, I had a teacher who played the sounds of the forest during our nap time. It was relaxing to hear bubbling brooks, light breezes in the trees, and wildlife calls.

Many years later I adopted my first dog, a German Shepherd coyote mix who came from the woods. Because my townhome was not ideal for him, I searched for a place I could bring him that suited him better. I found a rental cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. (Keep reading)
