Innovation Spurs a New Era in Convenience Store Foodservice

Hormel Foods is growing its presence in the convenience-store industry as customers demand foodservice proficiency.

For convenience stores today, it’s less about gas stations selling food and more about restaurants selling gas. This puts Hormel Foods in position to expand its foodservice business and help customers deliver the meals that consumers want. Not only that, convenience stores provide an ideal place to test new concepts. Consumers are constantly looking for new flavors and products, and the small pack sizes are the right match for people who want to try something different. Whether it’s an eye-popping selection of innovative snacks, foodservice products that facilitate freshly made entrée options, or the availability of expert culinary consultation, Hormel Foods helps convenience stores satisfy changing consumer tastes.
