EPISODE 2: DIVERSITY OR CLONES
"We all want to sail the seas with our mates, but a team of clones will only get you so far." Leading organisational psychologist and team coach for the recent ocean race winners ‘11TH Hour Racing Team’, Anje-Maricjke van-Boxtel, tells us why a diverse team equals success.
Evening The Keel (ETK) is a four-part docuseries spotlighting women in offshore sailing and focuses on the challenges of overcoming adversity to perform at a professional level in a predominantly male sport.

Produced by Musto, with support from World Sailing, the series addresses themes such as feelings about the term ‘female’ sailor, diversity within teams, juggling an offshore sailing career and motherhood and the opportunities for change in the sport.

The series is narrated by Tracy Edwards MBE, skipper of the first all-female crew in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race onboard Maiden in the 1989/90 edition, and joined by some of the world’s best sailors.
