While “soundproof” means completely blocking sound from entering or leaving a space, “soundproof curtain” is often used interchangeably with “noise cancelling” or “noise reducing” curtains in the home decor industry, which more accurately describe their capabilities. 

It’s important to have a clear understanding and reasonable expectations of the noise reduction effects before purchasing these products to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Please note that since curtains only cover the window area and sound can travel through walls and air, they CANNOT provide complete soundproofing.

The soundproof effect of our curtains depends on the number of layers:
