A $7 Low-Effort, High-Payoff Glitter Eyeshadow

For beauty columnist Rio Viera-Newton, nothing is quite as low effort, high payoff as a twinkly lid from a pressed glitter eyeshadow (her secret for quick “special occasion” makeup). Yet most inexpensive glitter shadows aren’t great, but she did find an exception: ColourPop’s Super Shock Eyeshadow, which is only $7. She says it has a “unique, bouncy texture, which, when applied, transforms into a stardustlike powder that easily washes over the lids,” then clings to them “like a second skin.” She recently took home three colors for $21 at Ulta (Rooftop Cocktails, Moon Daisy, and Ice Dream) but quick — they are currently even cheaper (less than $5!) on ColourPop’s official site, just keep in mind the $6 shipping.
