🌳 Branching Out Production To Peru

BranchOut Foods is reaching its limbs into South America after securing a 50,000 sq. ft. production facility in Lima, Peru. The new plant is estimated to bring in $40 million in production capacity with additional space to grow its branded and private-label dehydrated fruit and vegetable products.

🏭 The long-term lease gives the Oregon-based, publicly traded company first rights to purchase the plant at a fixed price at any point during its 10-year term.

📊 Despite its initial struggles as a public company, BranchOut has worked to stabilize its balance sheet by focusing on private-label manufacturing. Locking in a contract with the U.S. Army also helped.

💬 “Establishing our own production facility in Peru, one of the world’s most abundant fruit and vegetable growing regions, will allow BranchOut Food to control every step of the production process, including quality control, planning, and cost of goods. Additionally, we expect gross margins to grow to 40-50% as our production capacity increases,” said CEO Eric Healy in a statement.
