📊 Nielsen: Non-alcoholic Beverage Sales Remain Stable With Some Volume Pickup

Non-alcoholic beverage sales remained stable with some positive volume pickup during the two-week period ending May 4, 2024, according to Goldman Sachs Equity Research’s latest analysis of NielsenIQ retail scanner data.

  • Total dollar sales in U.S. retail grew 2.8% in the two-week period, up slightly from 2.6% in the past four weeks and up 2.2% in the 12-weeks period.
  • Volume growth picked up 0.9% in the two-week period, versus 0.3% in the four-week period and down 0.3% in the 12-weeks period.
  • In some inflationary easing, pricing growth slowed to 1.9%, versus 2.4% in the four-week period and up 2.5% in the 12 weeks period.
