👀 A Look Into The New ‘Seed Oil Free Certified’ Food Label

The Seed Oil Free Alliance unveiled a new certification this week – “Seed Oil Free Certified” – claiming its standards can address mounting consumer concerns associated with seed oil consumption.

The independent certifying organization was founded in 2023 with the goal of removing seed oils from the global food supply. All foods bearing its “Seed Oil Free Certified” seal undergo laboratory testing to ensure they are free from all seed oils, including soybean, corn and canola oils. Oils and refined fats such as olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, butter and other refined animal fats are permitted.
