The Gist of It: Satellite images reveal that North Korea has cleared a 1.8-mile strip of land extending into the demilitarized zone (DMZ), an apparent escalation in tensions between the two nations. Imagery from Planet Labs provided to Newsweek reveal at least four locations of newly cleared land, including one area that clearly extends past North Korea's final border fence. See them here.

The Gist of It: An admittedly nervous Naomi Biden testified Friday in her father's gun trial. The daughter of Hunter Biden, was questioned about the truck where Hunter's gun was found, which she had borrowed the same month he had bought a firearm after allegedly lying on federal documents about his drug use.
