June was a busy month at Pfizer! We celebrated Pride Month, kicked off 175 Days of Good, and, as always, continued pursuing breakthroughs that change patients’ lives.Â
Â
Our 175 Days of Good program, so named due to Pfizer’s ongoing 175th anniversary celebration, was launched last month and continues all the way up to December’s International Volunteer Day. All year long, Pfizer colleagues are encouraged and empowered to contribute positively to their communities via charitable works and donations. Learn more about the program.Â

Pfizer greatly values the LGBTQ community within its organization, and for the 18th consecutive year, we recognized those colleagues via the Pride Journal. Pfizer employees all around the world opened up to share their experiences as gay, trans, and queer people, and we are proud to learn from and work with them all. Their heartfelt words fill the 2024 Pride Journal.Â
Â
We also published a personal story of another kind, with a look at Chief Human Experiences Officer Payal Sahni Becher’s journey from intern to executive. In this inspiring piece, Payal reflects on her family’s decision to flee their native Afghanistan to provide a better life for their children, and how her own decision to say “yes” changed everything. Hear her story.Â
Â
Finally, actor and musician Ashley Tisdale opens up about her experience with Alopecia Areata, an autoimmune disease that can cause hair loss on the scalp, face, and other parts of the body. Hear from her as she speaks about the community she’s found that’s helped her feel less alone, and how she wants to help others as they navigate this disease. Â

Before you go, catch up with Pfizer on social media via June’s monthly round-up. This month, we took to LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok to celebrate Pride, our 175th Anniversary, and share an inside look at what’s in our scientists’ labs. Check it out and give us a follow.Â
